1.5HP 2 Speed HA440NG Balboa Pump

This modern 1.5hp Balboa HA440NG 2 speed spa pump is a direct replacement for the previously manufactured 2hp HA440 Magnaflow pump which can be found on 90% of Spaform spas. Due to the new design of the HA440NG wet end and the motor, the new pump delivers greater flow and performance which betters all of the older 2hp Magnaflow pumps. The HA440NG is labelled up as a 1.5hp but in fact, has the same performance curve of a 2hp pump model.

A great, small and compact 2-speed 48 frame Balboa pump that is very good at fitting in tight spaces within a spas cabinet.

This Balboa pump can be used to replace a range of spa pumps including the HydroAir Magnaflow HA440, Waterway Hi-Flo, Master Spas Sta-Rite Durajet, Vico Ultrajet & the HydroAir GC150 (with plumbing modifications).

Balboa HA440NG Pump Overview

• This is a 2-speed pump so the single high speed is used for JETS or Boost operation when bathing in your Spa or Hot Tub. The low speed is used for the spas heating and water filtration.
• Pump wet end connects to 2-inch plumbing unions on the inlet and outlet. Both connections have a 78mm outside thread diameter and you can use 2 inch flat gaskets to seal the connections.
• Pump wet end can be rotated from the standard 12 O'clock position to 3 O'clock or 9 O'clock position easily by removing the four 1/4" bolts that attach the wet end to the motor.
• Wiring - This replacement HA440NG pump is supplied with a new cable but you may need to swap over from your old existing pump as spa control connections can vary. You will have four wires, two of them are live for high and low speeds (Red, Brown or Black) so make a note when installing.
