2HP 1 Speed Niagara Balboa Pump
Genuine 2hp 1 speed Balboa Niagara pump designed specifically for use with hot tubs and spas. The Niagara model is a very efficient modern Balboa hot tub pump with excellent power performance and boasts from having a large heavy duty 56 frame sized motor. It can be easily recognised from its motor design and having a saddle bag style electrical box that hangs over each side of the motor with its start capacitors inside.
This 2hp Niagara pump is a replacement for Ultimax pumps by Vico & Sta-Rite, Sta-Rite Durajet hot tub pump which is commonly found on Dimension One Spas & Master Spas.
Balboa Niagara Pump Overview
- This is a 1-speed pump so the single high speed is used for JETS or Boost operation when bathing in your Spa or Hot Tub.
- Pump wet end connects to 2-inch plumbing unions on the inlet and outlet. Both connections have a 78mm outside thread diameter and you can use 2 inch flat gaskets to seal the connections.
- Pump wet end can be rotated from the standard 12 O'clock position to 3 O'clock or 9 O'clock position easily by removing the four 1/4" bolts that attach the wet end to the motor.
- Wiring - This replacement Niagara spa pump is supplied with a new cable & AMP plug but you may need to swap over from your old existing pump as spa control connections can vary. You will have three wires, live for the high speed (Red, Brown or Black). Neutral (Blue or White) and Earth (Green). If you need a new cable for your new pump then see related products.
