Element Fitting & Removal Guide

Once you have the heater assembly removed from the spa undo the two 19mm element/tube securing nuts. Push down the two heater terminals and slide out the old element (can be tight but will come out). Slide in the new heater element whilst making sure that you do not bend the terminals too much and ensure the Viton O-rings are seated properly in the recess of each terminal beforehand. Pop up the two terminals through the tube and secure in place with the 2x 19mm nuts.

NOTE: When you have the heater assembly back in the spa control box and you tighten the two heater terminal power wire connections with 3/8 nuts do not allow them to get twisted otherwise the element will be damaged and will not work. Hold the base of the terminal with a 1/4" spanner whilst tightening the 3/8 fixing nuts to prevent this. Element failure from twisted terminals will void any manufacturers warranty. We advise replacing any old pressure switches and heater union gaskets when you fit a new heating element.
