Complete Chinese LP250 LX pump with 2.5hp single speed 48 frame sized motor designed specifically for use with Hot Tubs & Spas. Our stock of the LP250 LX pump have the latest upgraded ceramic/viton shaft seal kits within the wet end as previous models suffered with premature seal failure. 

This LP250 LX pump can be used to replace other brands of spa pump such as Waterway, HydroAir and Aqua-flo. The wet ends on these LP250 LX pumps are almost identical to the Aqua-flo XP2e and can be used as a cheaper direct replacement. A few years ago we would have said it would not be worth replacing an American spa pump with a LP250 LX pump but now they have the upgraded seal kits they are a good alternative.

LP250 LX Pump Overview

• This is a 1 speed pump so the single high speed is used for JETS or Boost operation when bathing in your Spa or Hot Tub.
• Pump wet end connects to 2 inch plumbing unions on the inlet and outlet. Both connections have a 78mm outside thread diameter and you can use 2 inch flat gaskets to seal the connections.
• Pump wet end can be rotated from the standard 12 O'clock position to 3 O'clock or 9 O'clock position easily by removing the four bolts that attach the wet end to the motor.
• Wiring - This replacement LP250 LX Spa pump is supplied with a new cable but you may need to swap the cable over from your old existing LX pump as control box connection type does vary between spa brands. You will have three wires, live for the high speed (Red, Brown or Black). Neutral (Blue or White) and Earth (Green). If you need a new cable for your new spa pump then see related products.
